A 52-year old man killed by herds of elephants in Nwoya district.

A man who is known by the names, Opio Robbin of Pakawera village in Langele, a parish in Koch Lii Sub-county in Nwoya district was killed at his garden by a herd of elephants from Murchison Falls National park.

This sad incidence happened at 6:00PM when a herd of elephants attacked Opio in his garden. The elephants were from Murchison Falls National park which is managed by the Uganda Revenue Authority, a state entity under the Ministry of Tourism.
