African leaders are buying German cars but can't buy ARVs for their citizens.

President Donald Trump has suspended foreign aid, cutting off the supply of vital HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria treatments to some of the world’s most vulnerable regions, including Uganda.

With programs like PEPFAR now frozen, millions who depend on these life-saving medications are at risk.

The move has sent shockwaves through aid organizations, who warn that this suspension could have devastating consequences in some countries like Uganda, where millions rely on foreign assistance to combat these diseases.

Many organizations like TASO and USAID will be forced to close or reduce the number of their employees.

Important Question To Ask Yourself As An African.

1-ls it okay to get angry that the man next door is no longer feeding your kids, Africa- USA relations?

2-What makes you think that Africa should benefit from American taxpayer's money?

3-Why are we entitled to another country's money yet our African leaders are buying German cars but can't buy ARVs for their citizens?

4-Did you know that it is possible for someone who is HIV positive not to transmit the virus to their partner during sex?

5-Do you use condoms consistently and correctly?

It's high time, Africans should wake up, stop stigmatizing those living with the disease and together we can overcome this.

If a person living with HIV takes their ARVs consistently, their viral load becomes undetectable, hence impossible to pass on the virus during sex, be be faithful, desist from having multiple partners and always use condoms consistently and correctly.
