Women ln Acholi Sub-region Laying Bricks To Pay School Fees For Their Children

 As school returns l, many children have not reported due to school fees issues. Education not regarded as a powerful tool to equip children can also explain the reason for the low turn up of students/pupils to school for Term l but this is not the case with children who come from homes where father's are drunkards or alcoholic.

Women ln Acholi sub-region are laying bricks to pay school fees for their children.

Father's take most of their money to drinking places instead of paying Thier children to school.


Acholi  is the  poorest tribe region in Uganda according to the latest results released by UBOS and it's the region with the highest level of alcohol consumption.
